My name is Laura Brown (though most people call me ‘LB’). I’m a Tennessee-turned-Virginia-based storyteller, photographer, artist, and entrepreneur.

When my friends started having kids, I started making them customized children’s books, taking advantage of modern-day production and design technology. They were so well-received, I’ve decided to launch them on a broader scale. And thus: Fireside Books was born.
